We have quite spectacular walking terrain in North Herefordshire – at The Riverside Inn we have developed 12 very varied circular walks ranging from 3 to 15 miles.
Between them they pass or cross over a glacial gorge, a bronze age burial site, an iron age fort and a murder site in the woods.
We are also at the mid-point of the Mortimer Trail – a 30 mile walk stretching from Ludlow to Kington for which we have a dinner, bed, breakfast and transport package. This walk takes you over a succession of hills and ridges and rewards you with views of the forests of Radnor, the Black mountains, Clee Hill and the imposing Malvern Hills.
We have step by step guides plus OS maps for our guest if needed. We regularly cater for walking parties, both residential and day visitors, just let us know you are coming.
As always, dogs are welcome. Let us know they will be with you.
